"Dichotomy; A division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different."Dichotomy would be the perfect way to explain how I dress. Firstly there are a number of principles i abide by before i walk out of my bedroom door in the morning.
Is there at-least one element that other people would find weird or strange- if so, KEEP IT.
If its plain, layer it up! If it's too hot for layers, layer with jewelry
Am i dressing to impress anyone other then myself, if yes- start again.
Have I seen someone wear these elements together before, if yes- change it up!
and the finishing step- don't forget to walk out the door without layering your fingers with rings and the perfect shade of nail polish.
I believe that my style and fashion is ever growing and changing, but I like to think to myself as a person who brings elements from the street with high end designer fashion. My style has flares of cultural/hippie aspects, as well as adopting vintage pieces whilst paring all these elements with some gorgeous Michael Kors pumps or a Celine bag. I love my jewelry and I am a fanatic when it comes to rings. HOWEVER, I only buy the rings that are unique and slightly arty or well made/handy crafted.
The one thing that annoys me in my fashion world, is repetition. Going shopping and finding something that I've seen 1000 times before. My fuel for life is fashion, not the every day fashion, but the artistic, wonderfully created fashion that's innovative and different.
